October Farm Visit

In late October we get to go down to the farm and pick out a pumpkin from Grandma and Grandpa Barrett's pumpkin patch. They didn't have a lot of pumpkins this year, but those that they had were huge.

Of course Zhu wanted to see what this is all about. And there is actually another guest teacher at Pete's school, so we squeezed him into the car. And then we invited yet another guest teacher from China and his host family that live in Faribault (not so far from the farm). When we lived in DK, it was fun to be with the Danish friends - but it was even better to get together with the expats. I wanted Zhu and her friends to be able to have some time together, so I'm glad this worked out.
