Pooffy Pete

Someone asked me if it was cold here. Well, so far not cold like MN, but pretty cool (50 degrees), and breezy, and wet. All the kids here wear snowsuits. They aren't heavy duty warm like you'd need in MN, but warmer than just rain pants. Their main job is to keep the kids dry. And the puffiness slows them down a bit too. It takes more energy to run in these things and boots. Pete hates his - he hates being fluffy.

Look at that maple leaf - Its Ginourmous!

Pete's got a new friend at playgroup - he's lived here all his little 3-yr-life, but his mom is British/South African, so he speaks English (with an accent) too. Smile for the camera!

And we inherited a bunch of *stuff* from another playgroup mom, which Pete and Rich turned into a pirate ship. We save everything now. I tried to throw away a glossy green paper about 2 in x 2 in is size from the light bulb package, and Pete ran after me saying - Hey, I can use that for something!
