Naturama had stuffed animals of every kind. It also had an oddly large number of stuffed red squirrels. Who knows.
The museum has lots of stuffed animals that the kids can touch, and a bunch of mystery boxes every now and then that have pelts, wings, or paw prints inside them। Even so, the kids basically ran straight through the three story building. They wanted to look at everything, but only for a split second each. After lunch we ended up at a nearby park to "burn off some energy" as Pete would say.
We said good-bye to the other kids around 2 pm, and Pete and I headed down to the harbor to play at another park and walk on the beach. Each time we've been to this beach, it's been noticeably different. On our first trip, the water was quite low, and you cold walk out and collect lives clams or seaweed. When we went with Dianne and Carol, the water was higher. Yesterday, the water was not so high as last time, AND there were JELLYFISH! They were fun to watch, trying to push their bodies along, but the waves were too strong, and they were getting washed up on shore.
