Chilly Walk

We (me) decided to take the long forest walk around town today. Peter made it pretty far on foot - that's all the way to the cows - which were acting a bit ornery, and so I was a bit afraid. A pack of hairy cows with horns, mooing at you next to the small one-wire electric fence is scary enough for city-girl me. Plus, can that fence even shock them through all that fur?

Oh yeah - and for most of the journey I was required to call Peter *Ewok* (those little furry creatures in Star Wars). His ewok act is to walk around with sticks and with a perplexed look on his face, making little guinea pig noises.

Another funny Pete-ism to share - he doesn't say attack or tackle - he says "attackle" - too cute.




Happy Valentines Weekend! We expect to be busy the next few days. Tomorrow we are going to the train museum here in town. Playgroup has been there before, but we've always missed it for some reason or another. And Saturday Rich has an itch to go exploring.
