We made another visit to our friend's house this week, and of course with two boys some outdoor time was needed. Peter was able to borrow their no-pedal bike. I guess its what they use around here in place of training wheels. After he figured out how it worked, he did pretty good (except for that first steep, curving, gravel hill). But he got up and went on - he didn't want his buddy getting too far ahead of him.
We are having some more friends over to play today. I seem to be hearing the same thing from everyone - the kids are climbing the walls! I think its the long dark winter finally breaking us down. And even though the sun peeked out for a brief 15 minutes this morning - its gone and heavy clouds are back.
Here the sun is like a cheating, teasing lover. And every time it comes around I always always always get my hopes (falsely) up.
