The kids made personal pizzas. Peter made his pepperoni & cheese and he ATE IT All (shocker), plus cucumber, plus grapes, and all his water without my prompting (double shocker).
Then to the park, lost one kid, found him later. That's a playgroup first, and hopefully a last.
Later at swimming the teachers showed the kids 101 things to do with a noodle. Really! You'd be amazed.
So next week is THE week for January. Rich is making two birthday cakes - one for legestue, and another for his birthday party. I'll let their themes be a surprise.
I've spend the last TWO weekends scouring the city for party things - like paper plates, decorations. And every time I go out I just want to smack myself repeatedly for not going to some party store in MN. If you are a girl, they have tons of princess stuff. And if you are a boy, its either the Wally or pirates. Boring! Give me some bright colored something - Please! I'm desperate.
And the goodie bags...darn it. I was at Michael's, and I thought about grabbing some $1 items, but then backed off because I didn't know exactly how many were coming....dumb dumb dumb.
