Visit to Ribe

Ribe is Dk's oldest town, and it might even be one of the oldest towns in Scandinavia - I think I heard that, but I'm not 100% positive. Our Danish teacher went there a few months ago, and she suggested we do the same. So last weekend, off we went. The church in Ribe is ranked within Europe's 100 most beautiful churches. So a look-see at that was in order. You can see more pictures of Ribe here.

Fee Fie Foe Fum?

In the church.

Top of the church tower (50 meters, quite a view).

Checking out the tower from below.

After Ribe, we went a tad further south to the island of Romo (for more pictures see here). We went out to the west coast of the island, where the road abruptly turns into a mile wide, flat, beach.

The sand was blowing, it was hard to hear anything, and people were just out wandering all about. A bit surreal. And, you can drive out to the edge of the water. Even the tour buses were doing it.

Lastly we went grocery shopping in Germany. But we didn't get all crazy buying beer and pop, since we forgot to bring our passports. Next time I guess.
