The Road to Obama Begins in the Garden

Yes, that IS! me in a picture with MN Senator Al Franken! along with farmer Greg.

The Sequence...
1. We are a Farm-2-Table school serving local fresh produce in our cafeteria from farmer-Greg. 

2. I am the parent volunteer/coordinator for our courtyard garden - which also grows farmer-Greg donated vegetables.  Hence - I got to shake Al's hand. Smile Smile.

3. I explained to Peter - Since I shook a hand the very surely shook the hand of Obama - it's like I shook Obama's hand. 

(He said I was "obsessed with Obama".  Hmm?  Possibly.)
