I went out to check on the school garden yesterday and found this.

So small and tender, I wanted to just eat them up right there. The weather this year has been insane. Its so warm lately that leaf buds are already open. Even so, I'm reluctant to start yard work. If I remove my leaf litter and we get a cold spell, all those good hibernating critters might perish.
