We spent last Saturday up in Aitkin. Even though it was a little nippy, the cooler temps kept the bugs at bay making my walk through the woods extremely pleasant.
Peter spent his time practicing his new bow and arrow and critter hunting. He found lots of different sorts of frogs, red bellied snakes, and a handful of spotted salamanders.
That there is a frog in his hand.
Spotted salamanders.
Tamarack swamp.
