Peter's class had their new year party yesterday complete with:
Chinese story - something about a wok
Art project - paper dragon
Snack - fruit and niano gao
Contest - the "telephone game" only in Chinese, and the adults had to play
Present - red envelope with money (traditional gift)
FYI - red is the color when celebrating the new year. We were told by the teacher to wear red to the party. I quote "Not pink, not orange. The dress code for tomorrow is - RED."
