Weekends

I'll start with Peter, then you can mosey on along if you like. This is a photo (from the guy that was taking photos) at Pete's first wresting tournament. The weekend before this last one Peter was in his second tournament. He won his first match, and lost the next two. Grandma and Grandpa B, and Auntie Carol came to watch. He liked that.

Then on Friday Peter got surprise mail from over the ocean. Always exciting.

Moving on to this weekend...we stayed around home because Rich had his eyes Lasik-ed. I'd been waiting to try this crock pot yogurt recipe for a good year now, and I finally decided this home bound weekend was the perfect opportunity. Its not that it takes alot of effort, you just need to be around for a five hour stretch. I started Sunday afternoon, and on Monday morning I had this!

I prefer runny style yogurt. To get what I want, I have to buy a little bottle of it at the co-op for around $5. This recipe cost me a half-gallon of milk, plus a small container of plain Dannon yogurt to use as a starter. Next time around I'll only need to buy the milk.
