Lunch

Mayoless Potato Salad (based on food that was in the house last night).


What I did was...Peel, cube, and boil potatoes. While they were still warm and draining in the colander I mixed in some crushed garlic, olive oil, and salt. Taste test...mmmmm. Then, after eating half of the amount of potatoes that I cooked up, I decided I'd better stop and actually make them into something more.

So I chopped up some celery, red onion, cilantro, and a few forgotten radishes. I strolled on out to garden and found some basil not completely eaten up by those damn Japanese beetles, and also some rosemary. Then a cup of gorgonzola crumbles, a little more olive oil, and some balsamic vinegar. Don't forget S & P to taste.
