In the tub

We inherited a stash of Legos from my boss, along with the occasional oddity.


Due to dust and cat hair, they had to be cleaned.


This week we've also tried eating the garbanzo beans from the garden (see the last post). First we tried throwing the vine, with leaves and pods, on the grill to roast. This didn't work out so well. The stem basically started on fire, and the beans didn't get cooked enough. They still tasted fresh, and beany, like a pea.

Last night, Rich harvest some more. But this time he took the pods off the stem and wrapped them in some foil. After a little while on the grill, they look roasted. They also tasted roasted. Quite yummy. Slightly reminiscent of toasted in-the-pod edamame.
