Swarm Game

We shook up our ho hum weekly schedule last night with a Swarm game. A long time friend of ours, Josh, is a season ticket holder. And we were even lucky enough to be invited to the first game of the season.

This was the first Lacrosse game for all of us Barretts. Peter enjoyed the whole event, even the half-time dance club from Stillwater (on which he commented - they are better than the other girls...aka the cheerleaders...technically known as the "Performance Show"). He seems to really like the pretty girls, but not when they flaunt it.

And its no fun to go to something like this if you don't get a little popcorn. Peter told me with wide eyes that this is the 'small' size. Proportions here are out of control. Even so, we managed to finish it all.

For those of you who care about outcomes - the home team won, defeating the Calgary Roughnecks. Peter's favorite parts of the experience? When our team won, and when the other team players had to take a time out in the box - for which the whole crowd screams - Take A Seat!

I'm feeling oddly calm this morning. I'm thinking that three hours of yelling, singing, and cheering must relase a little tension.

Swarm site.
