It began on Thursday evening when a package from Denmark arrived in the mail.
It continued on through Saturday...
We had a boys only bowling party. I invited 7 boys, plus Pete to make 8 kids total. I figured most parents would leave their kids, so I didn't want to invite too many. Auntie Carol also volunteered to help out, and I of course took her up on that offer. The small group was nice because I got to see how the boy interacted with each other, and I got to see a bit more of each one's personality.
Bowling was also a great choice (a big thanks to Charlie's dad for that idea). The boys could shout and shove each other around a little, and nobody else at the alley cared. For those of you with girls - boys shout, and poke, and prop at one another constantly. It can't be stopped.
The festivities officially wrapped up on Sunday afternoon with a visit to Rock the Cradle, followed by pizza and a few more gifts. I can't even begin to comprehend the amount of gifts...I just know that every room in the house is littered with toys and packaging.
Pics galore here.
End notes:
Peter has decided that the puffy blue vest with dark colored t-shirt is quote "his look". He explained to me that it makes him look older and cooler.
Rich ran his first half marathon on Saturday. He made it through the race 211th out of ~700 and he made it to the end of Pete's party.
