Actually, there was no pizza at this party - we just never got around to ordering any. For Nora's 2nd birthday we met at Chuck E. Cheese, had some ice-cream cake, and played some games. Peter asked what we were going to do at this *place* (since he'd never heard of it before). I said - have some pizza, play some games. He said - Games! That's going to be soooo boring!
Well, once we got there he saw that it was video games and all that. And of course, later that night he kept asking to go back. He now knows what Chuck E. Cheese means.
But I still don't know - is it supposed to be a rat or a mouse? A mouse seems more endearing. But some of the games implied a rat - like Thunder Raton! That would be a rat.
Driving with Grandpa Steve.
Opening gifts.
Driving with Dad. Hey look - Danish lights!
Pete wanted to meet the rat, and get his picture taken with the rat, but he wasn't going to touch the rat.
After the game playing we turned in Peter's pile of tickets (you get these from playing certain games). Over 60 of them in all.
And his prize. A little rubber snake, like a 4 inch thing. Its kinda anticlimactic to say to him - Hey, let's got get a prize with your tickets. Let's see, for 60 tickets you can get a little Halloween size piece of taffy, or a sticker, or this snake.
A few extra pics here.
