Many many weeks ago Rich ran the 10K of the Twin Cities Marathon. I'm glad someone was taking pictures because the one I took (after-the-fact) was blurry-blurry.
Here is a link.
Rich decided (at least out loud to me) to run this marathon about a week and half before. And unfortunately it started very early, and it gets pretty busy down there (there are other runs going on at the same time), so Peter and I didn't make the trek to see him run.
He did however run fast enough to make it to Pete's 9:30 swim lesson. :-)
Other than that - turn turn turn.
These are pictures of the weekend BEFORE the Twin Cities Marathon...time is flying...when we went to a Moon Festival celebration in downtown St. Paul. Peter totally got in the dancing dragon. He also just had a moon festival party at school today. So it must be quite the Asian holiday.
Then another couple of weeks ago we made our first trip to the Arboretum. Totally lovely - and very reminiscent of DK. Wooded forested, landscaped areas, a learning center for kids - complete with NATURE PLAYGROUND. Oh yeah, and in another part of the park...a sensory playground. We did see half the things we wanted to that day. But we are members now so we can go whenever we like. We also got the +2 membership so we can bring friends and family.
Arboretum Photos here.
