Sometimes this is a hard question to answer for the unemployed such as myself. Our last guests have left us, and now I'm back to daily days that seem to meld into one another.
I think Grandma and Grandpa had a pretty good visit, and the first few days that they were here we had summer weather. We walked around downtown Odense and did a local little sight seeing. On Monday morning we headed off to northwest Jutland. It was a new place for all of us so we just explored the area for a few days before heading back to Odense.
After some cloths washing and food re-stocking it was off to Zealand to try the Viking Museum at Roskilde. People I know said its a must visit because you get to go out in a viking boat (you have to row, this is no pleasure cruise). The day could have been better weather wise - we had to row against high waves and winds to get out into the fjord - but once we were out and the sail was up it was *literally* smooth sailing. We were followed by a little boat that was filming our journey for the Nature channel (I think it was Nature). The man writing the story was on our boat, rowing along with us. Maybe we'll all be on TV?
We spent the next day in Copenhagen - doing the city tour stuff. And our last couple of days were at home, doing a bit more beach combing when the weather was cooperative.
Now the countdown to our departure begins. I don't need to pack up our stuff, the movers will do that. But I have started to go through and organize everything. Its a weird feeling when you know you'll be leaving, but you're still here. Limbo. And the dreary, cold, and wet weather is not helping.
