Day Tripperen

This weekend we tried the south Funen, Egeskov to Svendborg trail. To give you a general idea of it all, many places were named - at least partially - skov. Which translates to 'forest'...Egeskov, Tangeskov, Mølleskov, Skovmark...etc.

I chose this trail because I expected it to be a bit boring (I was saving a known *good* one for when our next guests arrive). But, there were a few nice surprises for me (glacial features, drystone walls), and enough the keep the boys happy too (some hiking and beaches). I think a nice trail to take a whole day-walk on would be at Syltemade Ådal. Maybe someday.



Friday we had a playgroup birthday party at Madsby Park in Fredericia, where we subjected ourselves once again to the dustiest train ride in DK. Dad came along since he had a half-day holiday. We thought we'd go to swimming lessons in the afternoon - but it was closed for the half-day-holiday-for-only-some-people-in-the-country.
