We took advantage of the fairly nice weather this week to go to the zoo for playgroup. The treat this week was that the big kids got out of school early and were able to join us after lunch. Once they showed up, Pete was stuck like glue to the oldest one. If she told him to jump off a bridge - I'd hope there wasn't one nearby.
Other new things that day were - trying to tug the weight that a tiger could; checking out the tiger without sticking your hand through the fence; looking at seashells with magnifying glasses; and a stuck giant turtle (who knew a slow animal could be so exciting).
I made vegetarian tamales and brought them to playgroup too - but I'll chronicle that saga on my blog.
