Happy Birthday

It was Rich's birthday on Sunday. He wanted to go to a new beach and try crab fishing, so that's what we did. This town is called Lundeborg, and its located on the southeast coast of Funen. And - no, you can't eat the crabs. This is just catch and release.

There was both a marina and a beach. The rock wall surrounding the marina made the water still and clear, so you could watch for the crabs below and you could see when and how they took the bait - they liked to watch it for a bit, and then pounce on it; and sometimes we saw two crabs fight for the same bait. We also saw a large school of some sort of fish (possibly hammerhead?), see-through shrimps, and then some other things that looked like small blue eels.

I say "possibly hammerheads" because lots of people stopped by to look in our bucket, but only one group (a father and his son) spoke Danish/English. Seems to be lots of foreign vacationers docking at this spot. Some people have it pretty good aye?
