Oh What a Beutiful Weekend

It was a beautiful weekend wasn't it! We started off Saturday morning with a trip to the farmers market. A cute little girl gave Pete a cute little apple and then we bought a cute little baby spaghetti squash and some cute little onions for french onion soup. (mmmmmmm, soup means that fall has arrived.)

At the library Pete paired all the puppets that could be paired. My child's brain constantly instructing him to Organize! Order!


At home he was riding his trike as fast as he could around the car. Instead of yelling kamikaze! or bonsai!, he was screaming BABAGANOOSH!!!!


Yesterday he went with the Barrett aunties to the family church festival in Cannon Falls, and he came back with about what you would expect for a boy - GOO, and a boomerang (that says "I Love Jesus"). While Pete was gone, me, mom, and Linda zapped stuff at Babies R Us for the new little girl. Girl stuff - too cute! Kid stuff - real expensive! Silliest thing I saw - the little nut cup that absorbs pee when changing a baby boy. Who would want to clean that?
